Program & approach

Enriching your homeschool, two days a week

The Way Academy sees parents as the primary educators and disciplers of their children. Our program comes alongside your homeschool with intentional, hands-on teaching every Tuesday and Wednesday.

Core academics

Each pod builds core skills that suit their family best — math taught with grade-level differentiation, plus Language Arts, Literature, and Writing in a family-style format with living books and critical thinking activities.

Bible & morning assembly

Every school day is framed by Scripture. Students study the Bible, gather for morning assembly, and are encouraged to develop godly character and wisdom throughout the day.

Nature studies

Weekly forest school–style outdoor learning: nature walks, journaling and sketching, environmental science, and outdoor free play. When weather permits, the classroom moves outside for extended learning.

Workshops

During workshop hour, students explore monthly themes across geography, history, science, building projects, creative projects, and guest speakers — plus new hobbies, skills, and careers they can understand in a tangible way.

"We want our Way Academy students gaining new insight on hobbies, skills, careers, and understanding in a tangible way — to 'dig their toes' into the pool of knowledge and learn more about themselves in the process."

Learning pods

Family-style groupings, K–8

Grades are separated into what we call "pods" — groupings where students can learn and explore our monthly themes in a grade-appropriate way. Each pod has an amazing tutor to lead them in learning and help them grow deeper with Jesus.
