Program & approach
Enriching your homeschool, two days a week
The Way Academy sees parents as the primary educators and disciplers of their children. Our program comes alongside your homeschool with intentional, hands-on teaching every Tuesday and Wednesday.
Morning Assembly
Students begin each day together in a school-wide gathering that includes worship, pledges, announcements, and a Bible lesson introducing the day's overarching biblical theme. This shared time helps unify the academy and encourages students to carry God's truth with them throughout the day's learning.
Pod Time
Pods provide students with the opportunity to engage in meaningful reading discussions and Bible studies that foster critical thinking, encourage thoughtful conversations, and reinforce learning concepts tailored to their specific grade level.
Nature Studies
Outdoor learning will come alive through nature walks, science lessons, journaling, poetry, crafts, and fun challenges that foster wonder and appreciation for God's creation. One day each month, students will enjoy a forest-school style learning day.
Workshops
Students will explore our monthly theme through hands-on activities, projects, experiments, guest speakers, and special skills during workshops. Your student will get a front row seat to all sorts of learning, helping to create meaningful memories.
"We want our Way Academy students gaining new insight on hobbies, skills, careers, and understanding in a tangible way — to 'dig their toes' into the pool of knowledge and learn more about themselves in the process."From our workshops
Learning pods
Family-style groupings, K–8
Grades are separated into what we call "pods" — groupings where students can learn and explore our monthly themes in a grade-appropriate way. Each pod has an amazing tutor to lead them in learning and help them grow deeper with Jesus.
